what do you mean by Looks?

These are the outfits and style we'll shoot! Essentially, each outfit reflects it's own character. Think about the kind of roles you are most likely going to play - quirky best friend, college jock, hard-faced lawyer, wholesome boy or girl next door...we want casting directors to easily and instantly see you in the part. Bring clothes and jackets that work for those kinds of choices.

okay, but what do I wear!?

I always recommend that you to bring more than necessary, we'll try it all and see what works and what doesn't. I suggest you discuss your upcoming session with your agent/manager and get a sense of what looks you need prior to arrival. When you arrive with a clear vision, we spend less time preparing your looks and more time shooting.

I FEEL AWKWARD IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA — HELP!

Don’t worry! I'm with you every step of the way and will give you all the direction you need. The shoot is more like a conversation, a chance to capture you engaged with the lens so that when casting directors or agents look at your headshot, they feel your energy come through. As for feeling awkward? I can’t tell you how many times my clients have said this to me and then end up discovering just how fun it can be in the hot seat!.

will I receive all the images from our session?

Yes you will! All images are sent via a high resolution online gallery.

is hair & makeup included in the session?

Nope! I do have a list of recommended makeup artists that I am happy to share with you once we book our session, however should you like to do your own, please arrive to the studio dressed for your first look with hair and make-up ready.

Makeup services are not included in the cost of the shoot. Many clients prefer to do their own makeup and you are welcome to use our bathroom for hair changes and/or shaving. If you would like to hire a makeup artist and need assistance, please let us know when you book the shoot.

Does the weather impact our session?

I shoot in a wonderful home studio, so come rain, hail or shine -- YES we can shoot!
